Experiences Manager / Contract

Remote Social is seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial Experiences Manager to join our small, but growing team.

Remote Social exists to connect teams through play and shared experiences. We believe connected teams work better together, and we are on a mission to help remote and hybrid teams stay connected even when they are physically apart.

We created Remote Social for teams to enhance cultures and increase engagement as we move into the hybrid future of work.

What is Remote Social?

Remote Social is an early-stage, venture-backed startup. We’re based in Sydney Australia, but have a global outlook. 

The Remote Social product is an all-in-one platform that makes it easy to find, schedule and host fun team activities. Using fun interactions such as games and collaborative activities we provide the space for people to get to spend time together and to build strong relationships and culture through play and shared experiences.


What we’re looking for

We are seeking an entrepreneurial self-starter to grow our community of virtual experiences in North America. 

Working closely with the founding team, the day-to-day responsibilities of the role include identifying and contacting potential hosts to tell them about Remote Social, answering questions about our platform, and supporting hosts to prepare the material they will need to host their experience on Remote Social. The successful candidate must feel comfortable doing cold outreach.

In addition to being an excellent communicator, with an unwavering commitment to building strong relationships with partners, you have excellent multitasking and organisational abilities. Ideally, the successful candidate will have 4+ years of experience managing and building relationships and demonstrated ability to achieve goals in an innovative, start-up environment. Experience working in the tourism, travel, hospitality, or events space is a plus.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive marketplace offerings in North America by identifying new team building trends, understanding participant needs, identifying what hosts can offer, and building products connecting passionate experts and participants 
  • Identify potential hosts using both research and your own contacts
  • Contact suitable hosts and introduce them to Remote Social 
  • Assist experience hosts to prepare and curate the information relevant to their listings, as well as support them through the process of getting their listings live
  • Act as the primary point of contact for hosts and creatively solve problems and find solutions for host questions
  • Ensure relevant data is appropriately handled and stored

  • Organised, with high attention to detail
  • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently
  • Comfortable with multitasking in a deadline-driven environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working across multiple technology products and platforms
